I have a deep appreciation for the wild power and the raw beauty of our American Wildlife, beautiful mountain ranges, and vast open grasslands, and believe that beauty should be shared.
I served 5 years in the Army as a Tank Commander; with my enlistment coming to a close in the fall of 2022, I bought my first camera and set out on my first backpacking trips into the rough and rewarding Sangre De Christo Mountains of Southern Colorado. Since then, I have spent weeks alone in the western wilderness, chasing wildlife and sunrises in blistering heat and ten-degree mornings, I have guided rafts down the violent Yellowstone River in Montana, walked with Grizzlies in Alaska, and enjoyed the sunsets with the Coyotes on the California Coast.
Born and raised in Sonoma County of Northern California, I have spent many hours and days at Point Reyes Nat’l Seashore with exploration eastward in my 1971 Volkswagen Bus through the Sierra Nevadas, Cascades, and the Rockies and beyond the Great Plains to capture the beauty of the American West.
